Collect the baby shower invitation, the birth announcement, the first pictures, their baby hat and receiving blanket as well as a newspaper and a magazine from the day they were born. Put in a keepsake from you and your partner or spouse and put your time capsule away.

Give it to your child on their 18th birthday to give them a piece of their own history. Of course, all of these things will probably create more nostalgia for you than for them, but it is a wonderful and unique gift idea.
