June 29, 2007, Newsletter Issue #70: Leap Year

Tip of the Week

You may be shopping for a leap year baby and if you are, you have an easy option for a unique birthday gift.

Calculate their actual age according to their birthday. So, if your leap year friend is turning 20, they are actually 5 years old (they have only had 5 official birthdays) - get it?

Go to your local toy store and shop accordingly - grab finger paints, legos etc. to celebrate your friend's perfect fifth birthday! You can also add in a "real" gift like a vintage transformer toy or action figure that you grabbed for them on Ebay.

Vintage toys are a unique and fun gift because of both their nostalgic and increasing antique value! Of course, a vintage toy can be a great gift for any birthday, even a non-leap year baby!
