Shock and Golf

Maybe you want to give your golfer a weekend of golf away at some terrific golf resort. Make it an awesome surprise.

1. Tell him or her that you are going to Florida to visit their in-laws for a weekend with the kids.
2. Have them bring the golf clubs "just in case" there is time.
3. When you arrive, give them the keys to their rental convertible (that you have already taken care of...) and the brochure to the best golf resort you can afford. (Hopefully you have arranged for him or her to meet their best golf buddies at the resort.)

You go along to your parent's and leave your spouse with a surprise get out of in-law's free card! They will love the surprise and you have set yourself up with extra help wrangling the kids during the weekend when your spouse is away. Everyone is happy!
